A day at the The Hobo Railroad Depot, breathtaking foliage, beautiful Lincoln, New Hampshire.

What a day! Set up right inside the Flying Yankee for “The Silver Hill Boys and the Secret Railroad Club” book signing at The Flying Yankee Open House. People of all ages from many parts of the country exploring The Flying Yankee. A BNSF engineer was part of the crowd and shared some wonderful stories. Did you know The Flying Yankee was air conditioned? Way back in 1935!!! In the steam era Yankee passengers in new white shirts, bright white blouses had no worries. Their shirts and blouses just as clean and fresh after being aboard The Flying Yankee. The first train to offer sealed windows and air conditioned comfort. Learn about this treasure.
