The Silver Hill Boys and the Secret Railroad Club Is Added to Weston Public Library – by Joe Karas
December 6, 2010
“The Silver Hill Boys and the Secret Railroad Club” can be found at Weston Public Library, Weston, MA. (A beautiful building with a kind, knowledgeable, devoted staff)
At one time, late 1950′s early 1960′s, this location was dedicated to field hockey. The brick building next to it was Weston High School. My class graduation,1961, took place June 1961 on the lawn in front of the building.

This is a great read & worthy addition to Weston’s collection – not only because author was a WHS classmate & the story occurs in local environs, but because it captures the magic of the youngster still residing in all of us !
A story for all ages, so this volume deserves prominent display with notation regarding it’s once ( and now forever ) local author !
Brings back memories of regular after school hours spent in the “old” library, as well as many “Military History Club” meetings in the current facility .
